Ginger Island
Ginger Islands continue the chain of islands to the south of Tortola and the Sir Francis Drake Channel. Together Salt, Cooper, and Ginger Island make up approximately 7 square miles and are slightly more than 500 feet above sea level. These islands are sparsely populated and house no more than a dozen residents.
The areas surrounding these islands are ideal for scubadiving. All dive companies serve these areas, and there are day moorings throughout where your chartered yacht from Taylor’d Yacht Charters can anchor for your dive. Salt, Cooper and Ginger Island all have dive moorings on the western side to access the Wreck of the Rhone and other nearby sites.
